Blueprint Concepts recently completed a signage project at the Surry Hills Community Centre for Probuild Constructions on behalf of the City of Sydney Council.
The signage components have set a very high standard in terms of architectural and wayfinding signage designs and Blueprint Concepts were proud to be a part of a City of Sydney initiative for the green building design.
Wayfinding and Statutory Signs
Project scope involved site meetings, shop drawings, protyping and sampling of the various materials and finishes, and the subsequent manufacture and installation of the components before the official opening of the centre.
Signage components included engraving and cutting corian, rock maple and stainless steel to create visually stunning directory boards. Other components included 4 window facing lightboxes with painted finishes and special fixing methods. One of the lightboxes had an LCD screen integrated into the face to add further dimension to user interaction.
Signage Specification
The project also involved statutory signage that complied with the Building Code of Australia. Blueprint Concepts has undertaken statutory signage projects for hundreds of builders Australia-wide and can offer you a consultative approach to ensure your site complies.
