Statutory Signage refers to signs that are required to be installed on residential, commercial and retail developments in accordance with the Building Code of Australia (BCA).

Statutory Signage includes all signage related to fire services, other emergency and amenity signage within a particular development. Please have a look at the statutory signage section of our website in the information section. This has examples of the types of signs that you may require.

There are a number of relevant areas of the Building Code of Australia that apply to statutory signage.  From fire safety doors and fire hydrants through to lifts and exits it is imperative to sign these in the legally correct manner.
