Blueprint Concepts were engaged by OAMM to create signage for Brookvale Oval’s major sponsors for the 2009 football season. The timeframe provided from start to finish was 9 working days, which is extremely short for a project of this nature.
The job involved a 10m x 2m sign on posts 4m high that ran along the top of the northern hill of the oval, along with a 12m x 750mm sign that ran along the top of the scoreboard of the northern hill. The sites had to be inspected with access equipment to check the fixings for top of the scoreboard, along with ground scans to make sure any electrical, water or gas pipes were not located in the vicinity of where the northern hill sign was being installed.
Major Sponsor Signs
As the signs were for the new major sponsor of the Manly sea eagles, the signs needed to be installed before the first game. This was completed without any problems or hiccups.
