Corian countertops are a popular brand of solid surface counter top. A solid surface countertop is made using a blend of stone derived materials and adding acrylic polymers. This blend is poured into moulds to get half inch think sheets.
Corian countertops are basically easy to clean, and do not scratch. Additionally bacteria, mold and mildew don’t survive on Corian countertops, making Corian countertops a much more hygienic option. Another benefit being that Corian counter tops do not chip easily.
The maintenance of Corian countertops is relatively easy and you are even able to use abrasive cleaners.
Corian countertops are found in three types of finishes. Matte, Gloss and Semi gloss.
Corian counter tops easily stand the challenges of daily use within a retail environment. The surface can be easily refinished to its original appearance should it get damaged in any way.
