Colorbond signs are a great option for sign making. Colorbond has the ability to wrap around corners and bend easily. At Blueprint Concepts, the use of Colorbond is essential when you have protruding sections of awning that may need to be made to look flat, such as the awning fascia in the photo of Bite Me Burger Co (red awning).
Colorbond is generally a cheaper material to use, and usually would be covered in vinyl to give it a brighter appearance.

Colourbond also is magnetic, so can be used for menus (see the yellow menu photo), or general signage to attach further magnets to it, like a “fire warden on duty” sign etc.
Colorbond is a great material to choose as it is thin and flexible yet strong and very durable. Signs all across Australia are made from Colorbond, including the general street signs.

Although Colorbond is a strong material, it would need some support behind for it to be a long term signage solution. If you are needing a stronger material on its own you could also look at the material Alucobond.
